Protouch Kiosk brings zero waiting time to NHS Trust

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH) has transformed waiting times in one of their busiest departments thanks to a patient flow management kiosk solution.
The queue management kiosk was installed in Nottingham University Hospital during Q4 of 2010 to support the blood taking department. The results show a significant improvement for patients: Wait times during peak periods improved by up to an amazing 50%, with no wait at all during off peak periods. Plus shorter waiting times have also significantly reduced the number of patients who take a ticket and leave before having their blood taken.

Express Lane Kiosks arrive at Birmingham Airport

Birmingham Airport is introducing an express lane through the passenger search area with kiosks supplied by Protouch.
Just fewer than 9 million passengers travel through the airport every year and as a result of the kiosks, passengers will be able to take advantage of a premium express lane and priority processing.

Matalan's new store opts for multi-channel selling with Protouch kiosks

Matalan, the leading clothing and homeware retailer, is piloting multi-channel retailing in-store with the introduction of self service EPoS kiosks, provided by Protouch.

Britain's Largest Cruise Ship Operator - Carnival UK deploys Protouch kiosks at sea

Carnival UK, the British arm of the world’s largest cruise ship operator is piloting Protouch kiosks at sea. Starting on the Cunard brand, the global cruise company is deploying the kiosks across its iconic cruise ships where they will initially be used to run a cash depositing system for crew members to administer on board accounts, and provide an information portal.
Until now Carnival has found it difficult to remove inefficient cash on board processes. As one of the largest vacation companies in the world with a fleet of 11 UK Ships, and 96 ships globally, the mixture of cash and other processes is unnecessarily taking its toll on man hours. With the new automatic system, crew members will be able to use the kiosks to top up their accounts without the need for staff assistance.
