American Super Bowl Village Deploys Touch Screen Kiosks

07/02/2012

The Super Bowl is an annual championship game which takes place in the United States as part of the National Football League (NFL) and it is the highest level of professional American football.

This year the Super Bowl has just taken place in the state Indianapolis and in order to help fans make digital keepsakes of their 2012 experience, touch screen kiosks were deployed in Super Bowl Village.

Hundreds of thousands of people travelled from around the world to Indianapolis to watch and take part in the Super Bowl celebration and to enhance consumers’ involvement, kiosks were installed to enable fans to record their own videos or send digital postcards.

The touch screen technology posted the interactive videos to YouTube and the digital post cards were sent to Flicr; and so far more than 1,748 videos have been made. What is more, 4,502 postcards have also been made by fans and all users have been sent emails with links to their creations.

It is reported that there has been on average 700 interactions a day and the firms behind the creation include Kiosk Information Systems and NSixty.

There are numerous touch screen kiosks on the market that encourage consumers to interact with social media platforms. What is important is that the public interrelates with the product or service and in doing so, brand awareness is boosted. A unit can display information as well as advertising, so for the thousands of people who used the technology, local businesses could have benefited with the extra publicity.

If you are considering deploying a touch screen kiosk, monitor or PC in your business, take advantage of the commercial features and contact the experts today at Protouch.
